Dancing through the rain
midsummer scents
rising from the warm ground
the air is filled with vibrant sound
of birds and leaves singing the song of the wind

I am now
I am here
I am back!

And my heart lets go of all the sorrow
streaming out of my soul like a river
carrying away the pain of past days
running downstream, further away
returning to where it points to:
its origin, an ocean of love

Dancing in the rain
to the rolling sound of thunder
witnessed by lightning
held by serene mighty mountains
who seem to see it all
and understand
and accept

Welcome, child,
they say
as birds are cheering me on
a squirrel stares into my eyes
to my surprise – it isn’t scared

My sweetest goodbye to you, dear sorrow,
and a bright Hello, beautiful life
I answer
as the rain touches my skin
blip, blip, splash –
no regret. Only love.
